The digital world is real and at the same time an illusion because it exists only by the grace of computers and digital devices. In my photowork, I'm looking for the bounderies: where does the illusion start and how does it form it's own reality. In itself, a photograph is no more than a reflection of the daily reality. It's ink on paper, nothing more. In this respect, it exhibits much resemblance to a digital image. That is also not "true". It's only reflecting light from a digital device. We give it meaning and it exists only in our minds. It's all a matter of perception.
